The complete private archive of Elizabeth Ride has been donated to the Hong Kong History Centre at

Bristol University. The material contains inter alia:

  • Copies of four years (1942-1945) of BAAG documents sorted chronologically.

  • Copies of BAAG intelligence summaries sorted chronologically

  • Nine files of original BAAG documents (see below)

  • A collection of printed books about Hong Kong and China

  • Files containing correspondence with former BAAG members

  • Lists of files seen in the National Archives.

  • Material concerning HK history, including newspaper cuttings.

  • Original photographic material of China interior; cine films of Hong Kong and the New Territories in the 1950s.

  • etc, etc.
